What I meant is that 85$ is too high a price to charge to an OEM, as it's not much lower than what a private customer can buy windows for. And it's gonna mean that W8 RT tablets will cost 100$ more than android. I don't think many casual people will think that price difference as a good investment.

I don't get that business model. They should aim really low with RT, yet they are doing the opposite of that. Why not offer office at an affordable rpice instead?

You can live completely in desktop. The only difference will be when you search. When pressing "winkey", instead of start menu, start screen opens. But as search is crazy fast in W8 (instantaneous), you actually save time.

WTF? I as a physical person can buy windows for 85$. That does not sound right..

Can+t you just buy an external drive? it's not like you have to have more than 500GB at all times. I mean, you could need it, but i find it hard to imagine.
