The parallel the author has drawn is correct, but completely irrelevant. Another such example is to say how cancer patients complain that chemotherapy makes them feel bad.

I don't really use microwave, i had the impression it takes longer for it to do it's magic. Guess i was wrong.
But un-freezing any kind of oatmeal would take at least 10 minutes?
I'd say it's equal.
Wouldn't un-freezing take longer than cooking?
This brings consumerism to unprecedented heights.
In most cases, not even that, windows pulls those in an update often.
I always do a clean install to anyone in my family/friends who buys a new computer. Does not take long.
I realized i had the wrong notion of what "slick" means. Seems ios in fact is slick in many ways.
When i read it, i thought, yes. Than i thought, what exactly unified and solid means when speaking of operating systems for you?
Calling iOS slick?! What is this, 2009?
I wonder how much time would it take to toss a few WP apps here. It's a disgrace.
That's all relative. USA only makes what, 5% of the population?
Seems they see SOME benefit in metro, since they seem to be loosing some shadows. That's a good thing.
How are we supposed to feed all these people?
Don't spread misinformation. They will be backward compatible and have the same hardware requirements. Technically, all current WP phones should be able to upgrade, but we'll see.
I did say that it's ok sometimes, even necessary. I did not mean to generalize, I hate that. Anyhow, weird might be better word, yes.
Than I was wrong about NFC.
NFC will have virtually no use at least for some time yet. If i'm wrong correct me, but it's in infancy, and i reckon it's gonna take a couple of years for it to become really useful.
Ok, than, I can change "USA" to "Anglo-Saxon" :)
