So true, I used to work for a home builder, and one of my golden rules for clients, was never ever ever ever, have the most expensive home in the neighborhood. Number 1 it won’t appraise, and number 2, you’ll never be able to sell it for what you paid.
That’s exactly it. You can spend “Over $60,000" on an Audi 4000 and at the end of the day, it will still be an Audi 4000. To raise the value of the car, it would have made more sense to dump the Audi and spend “over $60,000" on something like a used Dodge Viper or some other car with more prestige.
Absolutely true. Do any of these kind of BAT cars ever get sold? I can understand some rare M5 touring or something, but there are countless examples of old BMWs with manual swaps that are somehow now worth 20 grand. It’s almost always BMWs...
