If I had a gun with two bullets and was in a room with Stalin, Putin, and a Trabant I would shoot the Trabant twice. Best car my ass.

handtruck and bungie cords/duct tape.

I remember when San Juan was called the "Helen Keller" boat because of the shitty SUBACS system, which never, ever worked and was shitcanned with great haste.

It’s wonderful and idiotic and now I’m looking at flights to Heathrow. Dammit

I don’t know, it looks a lot like the GT-R LM with the paint from a Corvette and the head and tail lights of a C7 glued on. It even has the GT-R LM’s wheel cutouts.

Panthers on the prowl! Same sentiment here...

A bit of trivia: All Electrician’s Mates (EM) on Subs are Nukes. They fix almost everything on the boat with a motor, fuse or breaker: Pumps, fans, dishwashers, switchboards, fryers, anything that the ETs don’t fix. As a surface EM on a carrier, there were non-nuke EMs in Engineering dept. to fix all the topsider

If I woke up tomorrow and I was a 16 year old about to get my license and had 25 grand for a first car, I’d want a late model Toyota Sienna. Think about it.

Interesting that you bring up Mahle as my Father works there. I get to hear about a lot of cool stuff, but as people have said, those liners are different.

As an owner of the model that “saved the brand,” I love its final iteration of an iconic shape.

Yessir, and... <coughchevyvega1971cough>

You just started the boringest discussion in Jalopnik history.

The CRF450 doesn’t use a PTWA cylinder lining. It uses a traditional nikasil cylinder plating which is fairly easy to have re-plated .

Ford was using it in the GT500 as well once it switched to an aluminum block.

Nickasil!

Hope you never had the chili with whatever mystery meat was left over from the day. I remember hitting midrats with a few guys once and getting some really bad squirts. Found out they put left over sardines that sat in the salad bar all day into the chili that night... never again.

I’d like to see Stef try this out and do a write-up on it, since she can probably use her racing experience to fall back on and judge if this is really something viable.
