I 100% agree with you. I want to love Cadillac so much. I do really like the ATS a lot - if it weren't for the fact that my wife and I looking to buy a house in the next year, I'd be looking at an ATS later this year. And that's before I read about these new incentives.

You are correct, it is somewhat denser and it does maintain it's properties better at high temperatures. I misspoke, what I should have said was it maintains its strength better at elevated temperatures, requiring less material, resulting in an overall lighter muffler.
