I got ~this~ close to driving my uncle’s ‘48 Packard, but it was running a little finicky and he didn’t want to trust then-21 year old me with double-clutching and drum brakes. Hoping to drive his current (I think) ‘37 Packard the next time he’s over for a car meet.
