I’ve had a lot of cars that would be good Radwood material these days, that would be fun to have back for that reason alone: a 1984 Chrysler Laser XE, a 1988 Olds Calais with a Quad 4 and a 5 speed, and a near-perfect 1989 black-0ver-red 1989 Ford Probe (with the digital dash).

“Electric Sasquatch” would make a great band name, but from the name, I’d guess they wouldn’t play music that I liked...

I looked at the configurator this morning, clicked on base, 2 door, bright blue... and couldn’t find anything else I wanted to add. I thought about the storage bags for the doors, but how often would I really take the doors off? And the emergency kit is mostly stuff I already have in an old milk crate in my trunk.

It’s also usually hidden somewhere on the car. On the Explorers, it was on a sticker on the rear window washer bottle, behind the left rear trim panel.

My dad’s Taurus SHO and my wife’s Explorer both had these. Both cars are gone, but strangely I still remember the codes to both...

Safety/performance/whatever aside, THIS is what a modern economy car interior should look like. There’s nothing here I don’t immediately and intuitively understand, and there’s nothing here I don’t need to drive back and forth to work and listen to some tunes along the way. And it looks good, too.

Kinda...? I’ve tried autocrossing a couple of times, but that’s as close as I’ve ever gotten to actual competition. The rallycross idea appeals to me; I think I might end up trying that someday. And I want to try a time-speed-distance rally sometime. I think that might be more in my wheelhouse. I love cars, and I like

There’s no information on the history because the seller doesn’t know it. This is another dealer/flipper masquerading as a private seller. He doesn’t know dick about the car. I bet the title is still in the previous owner’s name.

Well, that certainly wasn’t me... it’s a Corolla wagon, for all intents and purposes. The Vibe/Matrix is very high on my list of “cars that will make great $2000 beaters in a few years.”

Rory is close, but not quite there. I’m not feeling vibes, but rather a Vibe.

Wait, you mean someone introduced a new truck, and they’re promoting its use as... a truck?

There are also a few race cars (the old Lancia Delta S4 comes to mind) that are both turbo- and supercharged. The supercharger takes care of the low end, and then the turbo adds boost above and beyond that at higher revs. It sounds crazy, but you can’t really argue with over 700 horsepower out of 1.8 liters...

Which one?

New-looking paint and rusted-out floors? Somebody didn’t do their due diligence when they bought this thing, and is now trying to cut their losses. At least they’re up-front about the floors, but calling it an “easy fix” is pretty disingenuous.

Huh... I just noticed that the sail pillar/ Targa top combination reminds me of something else as well...

I’m not sure how much weight those ramp conversions add, but I bet it’s a few hundred pounds at least. So it’s like driving it around fully-loaded all the time. You can’t really compare that to “normal” usage.

This brought back memories of helping my mom shop for a vehicle 25 years ago. She spent the last 15 years of her life in a wheelchair from a car accident.

I like the T-tops. And... no, that’s it. I like the T-tops.

If it’s the good original survivor it appears to be, then definitely a Nice Price. It may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but if you want a classic American car, this is a good starting point. All the stuff that makes it a “nice car” is there: interior, paint, trim, and the mechanicals are a blank page that you can fill

First boring ‘90s band that came to mind... could have just as easily been Matchbox 20.
