Kill. It. With. Fire.

My ex-girlfriend had a ‘91 Sundance for a while. This description sounds about right...

The Deazles.

“Micro adjustments to eoad conditions”? So, pro-Autopilot, but anti-spell-check. Got it.

When I worked in a garage in the early-mid ‘90s, I serviced roughly eleventy zillion of these things, but all the US-spec versions, obviously. The overwhelming majority were 3 liter V6 automatics, but I do remember a couple of 4 cylinder 5-speed ones, and that shifter is exactly the same. It’s also the same as the

Wow, this sounds like a royal pain in the ass. I’m glad Oregon makes it easier: let it lapse as long as you want, and when you’re ready to drive it again, just take it to DEQ for an emissions test (if it’s ‘75 or newer), and renew the tags.

It makes me want a Citroën, so I guess the ad works...

This is actually one of my wife’s dream cars, and I don’t think she’d mind he automatic (she can drive a manual, and well, but usually doesn’t want to bother). And 2+2 means there’s a place for our two little dogs to ride. It’s a decent price, based on others I’ve seen for sale, and the interior looks acceptable (as

1st: “Check out our KILLER new line of genuine Ford Bronco accessories. Precision-engineered to fit like a... well, you know.”

Bah. I just (nearly) finshed rewiring my MGB GT from front to back. And that’s after having to tear down the engine to replace the camshaft because two lobes were wiped out. And replacing the front brakes after a bolt fell out of a caliper and locked one wheel up at 60 mph. (Luckily it was the right front, so it

I can’t even imagine maneuvering those Lincolns on German roads. When my dad lived there 20 years ago, he had an older 7 series BMW, and I got to drive it when I visited him. Even that felt too big on anything but the autobahn. Driving a 60s-70s Lincoln must feel like threading a container ship into the Panama Canal...

I have a sneaking suspicion that the ride get a lot less fun at some point, probably 180 degrees from there...

Oh great. That’s ANOTHER amazing little car that we never got here that I want to import.

Neutral: There is only so much you can expect from a system that is designed to save people from themselves when (not if) they do something stupid. Technology can’t make drivers smarter or better; it can only limit the damage caused by their bad decisions. It’s time to focus on improving the system between the seat

I really want a Mini eventually, and from what I’ve heard, the R53 six speed S is the one to get. But not this one. These aren’t exactly rare (at least not in this neck of the woods), and a quick glance at Craigslist shows half a dozen clean examples for less money.

James May would approve...

Regarding registration: I wonder if there is some sort of temporary permit you can apply for. It might be easier if you intend to bring the van home with you (which I assumed you were going to do, but now it sounds like maybe not?). There are all those “pick your new car up at the factory in Germany and then drive

So the lithium market is depressed? How ironic.

No dice. If I’m going to spend ten grand on a used Camaro, I want to be seen in (and see out of) one with four rectangular headlights, preferably one that says “IROC” on the side.

Well, I bought a 1995 Toyota Corolla here in Portland for $500 just before the world started to end. It runs and drives fine, and has about a year and a half left on the tags (Oregon tags are good for 2 years). When I got it, it had a water pump leak, and bald front tires, but otherwise seemed OK.
