I suppose its a nice idea that they used that concept art for the design of the ship but goddamn if it isn’t ugly as sin.

Lump crab meat.

You just hang out with the wrong goats.

Wait, what? Who hates goats? This makes no sense.

Try to stay as far away from sharp edges as possible. The stitching is never good on those. Indoor is basically a crapshoot. And move slowly, for some reason that seems to have an impact. Do the horizon first if that is your focus, especially if something might move. Best to avoid all movement though.

And now for some context!

I couldn’t live without the 8" one I use literally every day.

Holy fuck, this is fucking amazing. I fucking love Jupiter.

Sometimes people deserve what they get. If the majority voted for it and it turns to shit, they deserve it. Just like if somehow Trump gets voted into office, we all deserve what we having coming.

Sorry man but “fast quadcopter flown by a human with FPV goggles” or FQFBAHWFPVG just doesn’t roll off the tongue like “drone”. We could just change to meaning of “drone” to “fast quadcopter flown by a human with FPV goggles”. Anyway back to my hoverboard.

“OK, i will order pizza from Dominos. 2 Xlarge meat lovers as usual?”

Let me explain one thing to you: I want it. I will buy it. I will spend all the money on it.

These types of services show up towards the end of every tech bubble then fade quickly when the belt tightening comes. I guess millennials want to eat but just can’t be bothered to spend 30 minutes in a grocery store or market.

I’m a big fan of Amazon, and order stuff pretty much weekly with Prime, but Pantry has left me cold. As you said, the prices are usually the same or more than at the supermarket, AND my Prime shipping doesn’t apply. Heck, I wouldn’t even want 2 day shipping, but paying for shipping after I already paid for free

I’ve always been a bit turned off by it. I mean, I get why they would do it if they were losing money by people having individual items shipped separately. But it always rubbed me the wrong way that they tried to spin it as if they were doing us a favor by offering this new service.

an alternate universe where everyone is boring and unlikeable

We didn’t get out of the stone age, actually. When I talk with my wife about anti-vaccination people, climate change deniers, or Republicans, I remind her that the minds that found it reasonable to test a woman for witchcraft by dropping her into a river are the same minds that we use today.

At the time I didn’t have a regular doctor - I was mostly healthy until about 50-ish and just went to the clinic every few years when a cold would seem to linger forever. I’m lazy enough that I wouldn’t bother going in unless it was still getting worse after two weeks or so. And for many years I’d gotten antibiotics
