It's neat and I'm sure helps the tone of the game but it's far from believable, let alone realistic.

Why does Looper not belong? Looper was a far more thoughtful story.
Well, then don't read the comics. As celebrated as it is, it's full of one-dimensional characters that always have the same conflicts. You rarely get the satisfaction of any significant backstory and the comic moves arc to arc in the same way everytime—kill everyone except 3 or 4 people, move on to another "safe"…
This is the one Ghibli film I'll probably never see.
Well that's just a fallacy in my wording. I was referring to the world's major religions, not religion by default; while I failed to clarify this, I did later note that I'm not specifically anti-religion or even atheist.
And I should apologize for inaccuracies with my knowledge, it's been years since I've been immersed in that environment of Bible studies, multiple worship services, conferences, etc.
"None of this has anything to do with science and faith, by the way."
Good for you. The only way that's relevant is that your school as an institution made a lot of changes to the Bible to rationalize the paradoxes between Christianity and science. Kudos to them for realizing science as the more rational reality.
"The sparkly name trend is actually closer to how many Americans name their kids—they pick a name they think sounds good. Sure, some folks give family names or check the meaning of the name, but many don't"
Well ultimately for me, I feel similar but because the series is wrapped up—who cares about Omega now? We've seen the ultimate end to Shepard and the galaxy, this DLC feels pointless (whereas Leviathan at least had more answers for us).
As little as I watch the Simpsons now, I still grew up on them. I'll never hate on them.
The problem with people who see Christianity from the outside—they only know what they're told.
If you think fundamentalism is a recent phenomenon, you don't know your history. Paul himself was very religiously fundamental, suggesting that men shouldn't marry because it distracts them from the work of God, condemning premarital sex and homosexuality. He calls gossipers God-haters and rebukes disobedient children…
Rofl. Yeah, I'm not a big fan of Manga but I'd love to see this happen.
Blame that on public elementary schools in America. The sheer amount of false information I was taught astounded me as I grew up and for a long time I doubted a lot of the actual facts I learned. Seeing people who choose to study teaching in elementary schools at my university, I'm not surprised that they soak up…
Actually, in the latter years of his life, Einstein wrote in a letter that he found the notion of God ridiculous.
Well that depends on the wording. Some people will say "ripping off" which implies a lack of originality and creativity led to plagiarism, but I see the similarities and I say "influence." He admired some aspects of Disney and put it into One Piece. Aside from Thriller Bark, it stays a vague art influence that's…
Sure, especially in Japan there are issues that seem to be way out of the way of what's important. It's just that the article doesn't make it clear what the issue was—was she underage when she was modeling? Is there an age limit for young models? Etc.f
Why are you so defensive about a few similarities? What would be so horrible about a few influences from Disney?
