I have a 4runner with this symptom as well. It’s the slip-yoke (the telescopic portion of the driveshaft that Peter referenced) expanding once you release the brake after coming to a stop. Grease it through the zert fittings and it should go away for quite a while until it needs to be lubricated again. Do the U-joints

David, these vehicles are hulking piles of shit. I expect you to buy them.

Alternate title:

Disagree, they look amazing all the time. Class all the way

And yet owners of the 7.0L C6 Z06 routinely observed 26-32mpg highway, which is better than both the current 911 Turbo and the fancy new hybrid NSX.

That doesn’t look right.

Nissan’s new slogan: “You literally looked at nothing else”.

the 2 door wrangler actually still looks good. the 4 door looks like one of those medical shows on TLC where someone has uncontrollable tumors growing throughout their body

Seeing these two Jeeps side-by-side. Makes me sad. Cars keeping getting bigger, more bloated, and more...I dunno. Dishonest or something. There’s something noble about simple cars, truck and Jeeps that’s just not present anymore.

Man, I really look forward to reading this article in two months at my dentists office.

Show this picture to your family members. If they can tell that these are two different cars, you my friend have found yourself a fellow gearhead. Then you can bond over that instead of having to talk to your racist uncles. It’s that simple!

I know of a couple good ole’ boys from rural Georgia who would definitely make it fly

The original Forward Control Land Rover ( there’s one nestled in the back there ), which that monstrosity is an homage to, was an amazing off-road box in it’s own right. Why they made it a taxi is a mystery though.

Then the Tesla Taxi.

A cabover is a good idea. An electric cabover pickup is a brilliant idea.

Cabover layout would also be a lot better in an electric compared with a gas/diesel, with the dramatically reduced maintenance requirements on the motors. Who cares if it’s annoying to get to the motors if it never requires belt changes, or fluid changes, and so on.

Honestly, I’m hoping they keep that design, but scale it down until it has a normal 6' bed.

Is Elon just bored?
