Nah they’re like 2,100 lbs now.

To make Swatch Mercedes Art...well at least that was the point when they were introduced.

We have the bureaucrats to blame for this. They overcompensated the safety by making the chassis triple-walled (aka the Tridian Safety Cell) so the tiny Smart weighs over 2,000 lbs. People like to tease Smart owners and say they’re riding in death traps, but they’re actually engineered with safety in mind more than

Man that makes me miss playing IL-2

Literally Hitler!

Sorry I am incorrect. That was a V-twin. I was confusing it for the later 360cc INLINE 4-cylinder in the B360.

Mazda made a V4 360cc engine for their early Kei cars including the R360 and Mazda Porter Cab truck.

Not really any worse than a Lotus Elise, except on really step ones. My car had stainless skid plates grafted on the underside so scraping was the way.

Search Mark Danger and manta on youtube you’ll see by big ass driving it.

That lower pictures is actually the car I owned. I sold it on eBay to someone in Europe. They’re still trying to auction it off. The idiots put the intake scoop on backwards in some of the photos.

I have personal experience with this. The builder of my Manta actually grafted stainless steel panels under the front end to act as skid plates. Worked pretty well actually!

I am 6'2" and fit inside my Manta Mirage even with the hardtop in place. I did have to modify the pedal locations slightly so I could slouch a bit. Without the roof there is really no limitation on height. The car was 42" to the top.

Previous Manta Mirage owner here. Just want to throw in my 2 cents. I must admit I’m torn on whether this is CP or not. Really it depends on the quality of the build. I sold my ‘86 Mirage for $21,500 and physically it was in better shape, but mechanically this thing looks superior. I had a semi-built 305 V8 in mine

Doesn’t it seem like Dodge is spending a TON of R&D money just to build a car that can beat a bone stock Tesla P90D in the 1/4 mile? They’re shot peening the damn driveline and shit. Meanwhile the Tesla wasn’t even designed with drag racing in mind and it’s like “yawn, are we done yet?”. Shouldn’t Dodge be looking at

Oh man I love it when PC physics break down. LOL what to do!? WHAT TO DO!??

One of the primary reasons I sold my Evoque after only 1 year of ownership was the small interior space. I had a child shortly after purchasing the Evoque and I found it frustrating that I had to sacrifice passenger room to fit a single car seat. This “Evoque XL” actually appeals to me quite a bit.

We’re called Jimmy Hats have you ever seen us? Most times we’re found rolled up on a penis! If you’re real smart you will always use us. Put us in your wallet because some dummies lose us.

You do what this driver did, but quicker. As soon as the rear of his truck kicked out, you instantly steer the opposite direction (in this case you would crank the steering wheel to the LEFT so that you’re front wheels are still following the lane). If he had caught it quick enough he wouldn’t have had to go all KITT.

I don’t know why, but I just imagined being strapped to a lawn chair on the roof of that car during that run. It was fun.

Maybe I’m wrong, but the volume of air gas coming out of the tail pipe should be quite a bit more than the air going into the intake. I didn’t see him address that at all. He simply calculated the volume based on the displacement * rpm to get the output.
