That beard’s a little too shaggy for my tastes - it just looks like he has no chin and is trying to hide it or something.  

I don’t understand why this is an objectionable thing. I’d appreciate it very much if someone with patience took the time to explain it. Apologies in advance, I’m sure the existence of this comment will not sit well with people who already understand this better than I do.

Rant alert: Great idea, extremely bungled execution. They gave us the exact same flawed views we have now complete with blind spots. Plus it looks like someone just duct-taped little monitors onto the interior doors.

I didn’t like this episode overall, and I could tell there were going to be annoyances very early on. Like when the ENTIRE of 30th century Starfleet opened fire on a slightly upgraded 800 year ship and couldn’t even take out her warp engines.
