People keep ignoring that fact.

All excellent points, but in eight years she's out of luck. She could never compete rent wise with what the global chains could offer. She'll be left high and dry in eight years. But I guess she could make so much in the eight years that it would be worth it and when the lease runs out, maybe move to a new location. I…
Couldn't have said it any better.
I could see Debbie helping out with caring for the elderly lady as a part of her job at the laundromat. I love how so many scenes this season have taken place at new locations. In the past is was always the Gallagher
home, Vee and Kevin’s house, or the Alibi. Patsy’s brought a really cool new element to the show.
"Stopped being easy," right because taking on a parental role for your brothers and sisters at the age of seven is a cake walk. Any comparison between Frank and Fiona is nuts. I get it, you think Fiona is a terrible guardian and probably person. I don't, yes she's making mistakes, but I believe the season will end…
My God, you'd think Liam and Debbie were starving in the streets. Fiona is doing what she has always done, relying on the entire family to help out. Lip, Ian and Carl are all capable of lending a hand. Fiona is trying to be more successful in life and her success will benefit the entire family, especially Liam and…
I could see Fiona taking on the same kind of role that Kevin had for that elderly man who owned the bar before he got it.
She shouldn't have given consent I agree, but she hasn't given up on the job, Liam is still being taken care of. Debbie needs to get her act together, she's dragging everyone down with her. The idea that Fiona has to put her life on hold until Liam is 18 is ridiculous, parent's and guardians are allowed to have a…
It's not really a comedy, it's a dramedy. The only
reason it's classified as a comedy, is so William H. Macey can get
nominated for an Emmy each year.
If Fiona did do that to that elderly women, the show would be over. Her character is the heart of the show, if she became just another “Frank” people would stop watching. It would also be a terrible betrayal of the shows fans. In the end, she’ll do the right thing, of that I’m 100% sure.
To be fair, the only reason the nightclub rental didn't make money, was she had to pay a bribe to the politician, it's hard to factor bribes to corrupt politicians into your business plan.
I agree with everything you said, except "tossing the old lady out," she'd never do that.
Totally agree, it's like we have the old Shameless back. : )
Wasn't Season 4 in winter as well?
I'm not sure she's as incompetent business wise as people think, she's mastered a lot of the intricacies of running the
diner. She's fired the deadwood, redid the menu, she throws phrases like adjusted gross and cost saving analysis around in a way that makes me believe she knows what she’s talking about.
Fiona was wrong to borrow against the house without running it by the entire family, VERY WRONG, but I'm still rooting for her to be a success. I think this season will progress towards Fiona recognizing that she’s done some lousy things the last little while and trying to make amends. I will be so disappointed if…
I want more out of life and love for Fiona. I want her to be happy and fulfilled. I'm hopeful she is in the process of turning her life around, in all respects. I think this season is going to be the most important since Season 4.
I think most people liked him, just hated (and I do mean HATED) the way the writters screwed up his return and second exit.
It looks more like sex addiction to me and I think it's sad. Fiona has always gravitated towards being in a relationship, terrible relationships, but relationships none the less. I think the writers are going to address this before the season is over.
Totally agree with the need for a break from her terrible relationships, Emmy Rossum has been saying it for years. I just don't think the Tinder thing is who her character really is.
