According to him, he told gave them some pretty explicit directions about where he did and did not want her served.”

you don’t think the client MIGHT bear SOME responsibility for where service ended up happening

The server’s obligation is to execute service. They can take guidance from the client or the lawyer - but if there’s only one or two viable ways to complete their task, that’s what they have to do.

I-. Okay. If you want to believe that he had any control or sway with her being served on stage or literally any way, then it seems logic and reason and procedure will not stand in your way.

I think Sudeikis told the process server not to serve her in an inappropriate way, and gave him/her some examples not to do. He didn’t explicitly OK or ask the server to server her in this manner. That’s an important distinction.

>>>>>”First, they did apparently attempt to follow his instructions, which is why she was not served at home (the most obvious, most private place to serve her, very interesting everyone is taking that instruction as an obvious sign of Sudeikis’s good faith).”

Okay, but he explicitly stated he only made certain requests regarding how the service was effected, none of which were related to how it finally happened. So, again, based on the statement, he had nothing to do with how it was finally served.

And they did what they wanted. Why is that so hard to grasp.

Hm. So you seem to be saying that because he ASKED a server to not deliver it a specific way, he directed the service. Do you understand that he literally does not have the power to direct anything? At most, he can REQUEST that the server not do things, but he can’t DIRECT or CONTROL how service is done. Some servers

But you’re arguing up and down this article that he explicitly dictated how she be served and heavily implying that he is the reason she was served on stage. Your argument is that he gave directions and the server followed them. So where does he say that? Where does he say the server followed his directions? Because

Well, no, I was saying that your statements are implying things, not that you were outright saying them. But apologies if you didn’t think my position was clear.

Right, and he stated that the directions he gave were “serve her at the airport” and “do not serve her at places where the kids are” but no directions were given regarding serving her at the convention. His statements are that the process server chose to serve her at the convention without direction to do so from

The MCU didn’t exist at the time. Marvel Studios didn’t really start thinking about the MCU until after Iron Man 1 was a big success, and Incredible Hulk was 95% done when Iron Man hit theaters.

When did he say that he specifically instructed the server to serve her on stage at her event?

He says he explicitly told them places NOT to do it because he didn’t want it to impact his children. (My father’s divorce papers were served to him at home — while I was there with him, alone, so that was fun. My mother specifically asked that they NOT serve him at work because she didn’t want him embarrassed. So the

He doubled down on this in the documents shared by the Daily Mail, claiming he’d requested for Wilde to be served at Heathrow Airport in London rather than her boyfriend Harry Styles’ home, where she’s currently living, “because Otis and Daisy [Wilde and Sudeikis’ children] might be present.” Sudeikis also said he

There’s nothing that prevents process servers from following the directions of their clients, even if that’s not the way it is usually done.

“The character was introduced into the MCU with 2008's The Incredible Hulk, which dug into his experiments with gamma radiation that gave him superpowers”

I got served papers while on stage, too, so for the rest of my set I had to carry the papers while gyrating and removing the remainder of my clothing.

Welp, you can’t uproot your kids and move to another continent and put massive distance between them and a bonded parent that they were used to having in their lives every day, and then say you are acting in said children’s best interests. If this really is Wilde’s intention, I think Sudekis was right to serve her
