I’m guessing that was already used by Tina in Bob’s Burgers.

The Batman Returns.
I sort of thought we all stopped being salty about Wonder Woman 1984 being released on HBO Max when it turned out it was fucking terrible.
Warner Bros. brought some footage of an alleged Flash movie that has yet to evidence its existence. Despite some fan requests, Ezra Miller is still in The Flash and so is Michael Keaton, who delivers a mellower bit more confident reading of the fan-favorite line, “You want to get nuts? Let’s get nuts.”
Jamie Foxx’s portrayal of Wanda Wayne in In Living Color was an inspiration.
OH. MY. is this...satire or...something?
What a blowhard
That wig also looks like it’s straight from the Halloween Store. This clip looks like a weird SNL bit.
It’s her job as a leader to make bold choices? A leader of what?
Did she...did she not know? How did nobody tell her that’s what she was doing?
Are you… frustrated by the criticism of your OP?
That seems like a strained interpretation of her comments. The critics to which Davis was responding were commenting on her portrayal of one of the main characters in a series. How well a lead actor did in a role is not a subject “disconnected from the actual work they are reviewing.”
It’s not a ‘boom’, it’s the soft, wet fart of a damaged ego.
[Walks back statement as soon as she has a performance being considered for an award judged by critics]
...is it boom? Have you never gotten an ounce of utility from a movie review (or even just a recommendation from a friend who shares your taste) in terms of helping you to decide whether to go see it?
It’s almost like movie critics are not exclusively writing their reviews for Davis.
Yes, this is a pissy, self-centered argument by Davis.
Critics absolutely serve a purpose, but they don’t serve a purpose *to actors.*
I’m always confused by these posts that want to be pessimistic about something we’ve barely seen and won’t actually see until next year.
