If you can keep the quality high (Iron Fist, I’m looking at you) this is the kind of thing that could get me to subscribe. Also, bring back Peggy Carter. That show was great.

It sounds like I enjoyed a lot more of the movie than you did, but I agree that I liked Scarlet Witch and Vision’s time on screen a lot. The idea of these two carving out a little life together between massive battles and superhero politics really piqued my interest.

Kevin Smith put Stan Lee in his movie before it was cool to put Stan Lee in your movie

It annoys me, probably more than it should, the way Kevin Smith latched himself on to Stan Lee.

Lynch's version of the Baron might be the very worst thing about that terrible adaptation.

I assume they’re going less cartoonishly grotesque with the Baron this time, which is smart. The Lynch version was unforgettable, but they went so far over the top the menace tipped over into camp.

Lol. I’m not Kevin and I’m at work bored.  Whats your excuse?

Jealous much?

Wow aren’t you just a hateful little person.

Weirder, Randal and Dante spend, like, half of their time talking about Star Wars.

Clerks was hilarious to anyone who is not a pretentious prick, but hey, seems like that qualifier might be an issue for you.

I’m pretty sure the only thing I know Larson from is Room (and she was great in that). From the bits of dialogue in the trailers, I think she can pull off the funny/badass stuff from the comics - not sure they’ll put enough of it into the movie.

The bad guy was the friends we made along way.

Now, just calling it “shitty” would be vintage A.V. Club. :-D

Jack Kirby is a god. He created an entire visual language almost single-handedly. He is untouchable. He was fucked out of his original art and never got proper credit, or the appropriate payday, for the pop-cultural behemoth for which he was one of the two or three principal architects. It is a shame and a tragedy

Joke that I enjoyed way too much: The birdcall Bob White used belongs to a bird named the Bobwhite Quail.

2 biggest laughs from me were “Superbowl Shuffle” and “Pac-man Fever”

The weapons testing was funny as hell, but it was also an inside joke to know which 3 vampires he was talking about.

Plus Korg only got the part because he slept with the director.
