Nothing you can do or say is right when they’re hellbent on taking a Black life.  The only cure for this is for them to know there will be negative consequences.  i.e. loss of job and jailtime.

Until recently, white women were never called out for the HUGE role they play in furthering racism and now that the cover is starting to be pulled, white folks are uncomfortable. Overt racism is just not as cozy as covert racism for white woman.

Go to any comment section anywhere involving Black folks, especially Blacks who have expressed anti-racism sentiments and you will boatloads of whites spewing comments like Barry’s and worse. Whites are obsessed with maintaining the racist status quo.

Wow. I used to live in DC and had the sense that I (and Black folks in general) had more protection from police brutality in DC than in any other part of the country BECAUSE of the concentration of Black officers. This is mind blowing... and depressing. But thanks for the enlightenment.
