You know, for all of Lucas’ flaws, putting an ass-kicking princess with agency in his space opera instead of a pretty, helpless damsel-in-distress type was pretty forward for the time. I don’t know if we give him enough credit for that. I mean, before that, what did we have? Barbarella? and what, maybe Uhura?

This looks great. Zachary Levi reminds me of Tom Hanks in Big. It has exactly the right tone for this movie. Thank God it’s not grim and gritty like every other DC Property.

At 0:40, is that the Overlook Hotel from the Shining in the therapist’s picture? That’s a weird choice, if it is. If I was going to put in an easter egg of a tourist spot from one of King’s books I’d put in Arcadia Beach from The Talisman. The Overlook didn’t have any Tower connections, did it?
