I love baking potatoes and sweet potatoes. I used to use the setting which heats both the top and bottom elements and place the bsking tray in the upper middle part of the oven. They cooked perfectly every time. That setting of my oven unfortunately no longer works. I tried just the top element and they came out fine…

I’d really like to know what element is best to use for different things - top or bottom?
