That sucks. :(
I’ve noticed that it’s less about how long you’ve been around, and more about how active you are, unfortunately. I hope that someday they go back to the system where commenters can work towards ungreying other commenters, because it’s not fair to the commenters (or the writers, since they have like,

It means you’re “ungrey” on LifeHacker (but probably not the LifeHacker subblogs). So now your posts will always show up without people having to view pending, and if you star a grey post or respond to a grey post that post will be ungreyed.

If you respond directly to someone they see your comment in their notifications/dashboard, regardless of whether you’re grey or followed. So I can see it. :)

Aw, thanks. I try to help where I can because this shit is confusing.

Oh uh, greys are what you are. Greys are users who aren’t followed by whatever blog they’re posting on. It’s not a value judgement or anything, they just have a bad system in place right now. But “grey” users have their comments show up “in the grey” which means that unless you click “show pending” you don’t see them.
Y

Yeah. I think it’s always been like that. That’s why you have to post early and hope that one of the ungreyers will ungrey your comment. Otherwise, even if you post early, all the grey comments will be at the very bottom. And by the time an ungreyer hits your comment, it’s too late for it to be super popular and get

But the human genes make it so much tastier!

That’s depressing and makes me glad I don’t live in LA. I hope it happens less often where I live.

According to this article it’s not - Kim Howe is the dead woman, and her estate is being sued by people her car was pushed into (but they are not dead). Your interpretation of it would make a lot more sense though.

I know myself and some other commenters try really hard to ungrey non-offensive comments on most articles. If I’m not busy I’ll hit the same article up multiple times to try to get most of them, because this system is really not fair. (I haven’t been doing that tonight because I’m preoccupied. :( )
I also don’t think

I eat this brand sometimes. (I don’t currently have any of it, though.) Since I’m not in one of the recall states it’s still safe to buy it here, right?

Oh wow. That’s so sad and messed up. :(

I am definitely more comfortable in all black, lol. I finally brought color into my wardrobe a few years ago, but it’s still my default.

Usually I’m really good about matching colors but I feel weird about it when they’re on my feet. I usually wear neutral shoes. These are all good suggestions, thanks. :)

So is that like a thing? I have really cute pink sports shoes like this that I’ve been wearing with all black because I have no idea what else they go with, but I don’t really feel like they go super well with all black either. Do they go and I’m being overly picky?

I really don’t think people commit suicide just to protect their money usually, do they? That seems like a horrible reason to kill yourself.

That actually makes a lot of sense, thank you.

I drive like a complete idiot in bad weather (like I’m in control of my car and I’m not swerving everywhere, but I’m also usually going the speed limit instead of as slow as I should be). This whole thing has really made me second guess that, and I’ll probably be a lot more careful when the snow comes this winter.

Oh wow I love that watch

..but they’re dead.
Like I know you’re just trying to explain the legalities of it to me, but I don’t totally get it. They’re dead. There’s no point in holding them liable because they won’t care.
And if her estate is going to her family members/loved ones, it will hurt them when they’re not the ones who did anything
