I kind of like them (especially Lady Gaga’s) but my taste generally does run to the garish and tacky af side of things... so that’s not really a ringing endorsement.

I mean, it does say in the article that he has a history of mental illness. So depending on how bad whatever his mental illness was at the time, it is possible that he wasn’t stable enough to get/keep a job.
I would like to know this about the food, too. If I get arrested, do I get pizza? I would do many things for pizza.
(I would not actually kill someone for pizza, though.)
This is actually really bothering me because I’m A) slightly overly literal and B) I like people to use words that actually mean what they are claiming they mean.
This is not cheating, even if you put the word “ethical” in front of it it’s not cheating. You can’t just give words new meaning because you like it better,…
This seems fine if you bring it up respectfully to your partner and they actually agree to it. Like Tracy said, it’s just opening your marriage. If they don’t agree to it or they’re obviously not okay with it, it’s not okay. And if they do agree to it why the fuck would anyone call it cheating? It’s not cheating if…
So what I’m getting from this thread is that I need to move to London, where I could actually afford to go to the theater.
I guess I’m going under the assumption that most teens don’t actually have jobs, since in the area I grew up in the majority of them didn’t. But I suppose it’s probably different other places.

I didn’t see anything either, but that pic at the bottom of the article is quite amazing.
I LOVE PIERCINGS AND IF YOU HAVE THIS PIERCING AND WANT TO “EXPERIMENT” AND SEE IF IT GETS CAUGHT ON MY PIERCING AND IF IT ACTUALLY WORKS PLEASE HIT ME UP.
(please do not hit me up. i am somewhat sunday drunk and will probably regret this tomorrow if i get a lot of solicitations.)

Awww. Just because I don’t like Prince at all doesn’t mean we can’t still be friends! Like the only celebrity I idolize at all grew up listening to Prince and loves his music, and I still like her. I just question her taste in influences (although her music is great so maybe she’s on to something).
I should check out the Boulder Dinner Theater. That would be reasonable, for like once or twice a year.
I have a friend who works in the costume department at CU Boulder, and she says their plays are amazing, too. So maybe I can check the out as well.
Thank you for the suggestions!
Okay? What does that have to do with me saying it’s loaded language? It is loaded language.
I’m pretty sure I made it clear that I don’t agree with his word choice, I just get what his point is.
I agree. And that’s only ONE of the reasons I dislike him.
I dislike Prince, on multiple levels for multiple reasons, but I do get what he’s saying here. It’s not a very good (or PC) analogy, but I guess sometimes you need to use loaded language to get people’s attention?
And the way a lot of record companies treat their artists really is truly abysmal, by most accounts.
I’m…
Haha, yeah, that’s a good point. It’s probably at least a little more educational than just going to see a movie.
I wonder if there’s anything like that in my city? I’m in Denver and it’s not like a huge cultural hub or anything, but our performing arts are pretty decent. Just also pretty expensive. Like, I was checking out our main performing arts center again and tickets to see any of those plays are $75+ for not horrible seats…
...How close are you looking at his pictures to see the outline of his smartphone? Or are you looking for a different outline?
Oh, yeah, I’m sure. Joanna just implied that the majority of the fans going to see Cumberbatch’s plays are teens, and I’m in a mood so I felt like being difficult instead of taking it for the joke it probably is meant to be.
