Sure. I’m not saying everyone who’s getting offended is a dick (contrary to how a lot of people are taking that, lol), I’m just saying that this type of story is going to attract that type of person and controversy.

“Mansplainer” is usually used when men insert themselves into a conversation that women are having about their experiences/how they feel/etc. and try to explain the situation/the woman’s feelings/etc. to them from their perfect manly perspective.
