It’s not like there’s any shortage of acceptable venues. When was the last time you were in even a moderately sized banquet hall or hotel meeting room that didn’t at least have a wheelchair ramp? To be fair, he’s completely incompetent. So he’s not just looking at the base costs and/or the small hotel set-up fee, because he ignored the problem until it bit him in the ass. At that point he’s looking at the rental plus several hours overtime for the hotel to set it up as a rush job, plus whatever their annoyance

Disabled fans are paying fans, just like anyone else. Disabled guests are guests who are asked to be there.

Then you do not hold a convention. You keep looking until you find a venue that is not discriminatory.
