I used to get this stuff very bad when I was young. Living in a rural area and liking to wander through the woods taught me how to avoid it for the most part.

Is it in airplane mode?

The antennas on those planes may be a hundred feet away from the cockpit, so even if the pilot was using his own phone, it is no more likely to be the problem than any other.

I have done this in a Cessna... Needless to say staring out of the left side window to fly/land is an odd experience.

I work in aviation... specifically an avionics tech... I install electronic systems in aircraft. Run the wires, make the terminations and pin connectors, install the equipment computer boxes/displays, test and troubleshoot.

Yeah... antennas by definition are not "shielded".

Bet you are right. Couldn't make out the markings.

Yeah, amazon is a good source.

They make good knives. They have some over $100 easy.

For a cheap knife like that... don't worry about it.

Also... whats up with the strange speaking mannerisms of the news lady... seems stilted/unnatural.

Or they are not trained on proper gun safety, or even done deliberately to look intimidating... I would bet its lack of safety training or mindset, though the latter is definitely plausible.

Do what now? Where did that come from out of this conversation?

How?

I heard that the financial troubles for the post office are from a recent bill/law/something that lets other parts of the government dip into the USPS funds.

There are kits that have jigs to hold the knife and stone at the proper angle, they work well.

The biggest thing with stone sharpening, if the knife is really dull, it can take a while to bring the edge back. Most do not have the patience.

I might use this on a cheap $15 kitchen knife from walmart, but nothing else.

When watching I was curious as to what they did to deserve all those metals and ribbons... did they fight a major war or two recently that the rest of the world is unaware?

HA! I recognize those pistols.
