The whole Wanda killing Vision, then time getting rewinded, then Vison getting killed again, is a kind of specific and personal detail that it seems a little unlikely that the average person knows, but Darcy is apparently a SWORD-admired astrophysicist and personal friends with Thor, so not that shocking that she

Plus, making Wanda the villain would lead to a really uncomfortable “Poor simple women, just can’t handle their emotions” vibe.

The laugh was the best part. Hahn clearly had a blast playing this character and relished the heel turn.

I bet her friend built the device. And they established it was the best they had.

It's got a real Wicked Witch of the West "and your little dog, too" vibe to it.

Rose was fantastic in the challenge. I would’ve picked her as the winner if not for the excellence of Ms. Symone.

Symone flat out won the episode.

There are several gags in this movie that involve READING and at no point do the characters read those jokes out loud to the audience! That sounds like such a low bar but it’s so refreshing!

Funny things comedy audiences were once expected to look at, find funny, and move on from, without belabored dialogue explaining it to the cheap seats?

this movie is DELIGHTFUL and that musical aspect caught me off guard, I’m still recovering

Amazon and a few others have it to rent. I think it’ll run you twenty bucks, which is a price point I admit I still haven’t 100% gotten used to, but for a theatrical-quality movie with a lot of laughs I’d say is worth it, especially if your household has more than one person.

oh no, i actually laughed out loud while reading the plot described in the review. i’m a total mark for this shit.

I was saying something similar to this last week (I think) and totally agree with you. And I hope he gets to survive, because I really like him.

Monica’s comments also make it pretty clear that Wanda’s grief is driving a lot of this. When Norm said that it hurts I assumed he meant the mind control. But given Monica’s observations, I wonder if he actually meant the grief.

Every part of me wants to believe Vision is actually alive again and not just a zombie puppet Wanda’s animating in her dream world.

Elizabeth Olsen is a HUGE part of why this show is working so well. She is flipping effortlessly between an angry Scarlet With, glimpses of the clearly grieving Wanda, and wacky sitcom wife.

The Lucas Brothers wrote this? I was definitely going to see this, but I’m fascinated by this. Lucas Bros Moving Company was one of my favorite shows from the last decade, but it had a REALLY specific sense of humor and I have zero idea how they would handle a period drama.

A character doesn’t have to display racist tendencies in order to be the face of white supremacy. Plemons totally nails a certain type of blithe, corn-fed evil. He doesn’t always do evil things, but he evokes a certain sort of cog in the system which is completely confident in the profits and advantages such a system

If you haven’t seen it, Fred Hampton: Death Of A Black Panther is essential viewing. 30-minute documentary made right after his murder to prove that it was a murder, lots of clips of the cops and the DA lying to the press (with a little bit of pushback) while the filmmakers also go to the apartment and film the

Eh, it’s the Royal Navy in the 19th century. It’s plenty gay.
