Wright wasn’t fired, he left after his input was overwritten by other writers; and the Ant Man we got is very much a comedy.

Though I’m aware of how this sounds, I say completely without sarcasm I’m glad there’s always some nerd around to deep-dive explain stuff like this

He has become more Florida than man, now.

The one on the top right is the bad boy isn’t he

How is Danny McBride not Florida Man? It’s like the role he was born to play.

Especially considering how expansive Vision’s family tree is in the comics...

Now playing

Reasonably, one of the things I’ve been wondering is how (not if) we’re going to get to Wanda’s full comic book power set.

Will it really though?

It didn’t.  It got a proportional amount based on its popularity.

It’s as if, hear me out, when two of the 5 most populous states don’t have theaters running and seem to have no plan to for the foreseeable future, this may just be untenable.

This is what happens when your question is “how do we make a streaming service distinct from others in order to make money?” instead of “is it possible to make money with a new streaming service in a crowded field when we don’t own the rights to anything?”

Sad to see people work hard on a platform doomed from the get-go. Like, who really wants a platform catered exclusively to broadcasting content for when you’re on the shitter? Or content that is designed to have the edges cropped when you flip your phone? Or content that is not (initially) able to broadcast to normal

Yeah, fuckin’ seriously... as a hospital worker who has to deal with the fallout from “eating at home is so boring, let’s just go out once, we’ll be careful...” fuck you. Really. IT would be FINE, if you just risked you and yours. However, you then go to work, or the store or somewhere else you HAVE to go and get

If you can’t redirect them (“let’s get coffee and sit in a park”) then you just say “sorry, that won’t work for me”.

Only if you trust your guests’ bubble(s), can dine outdoors, and use disposable dishes. I work in higher ed and an indoor dinner party got half a dozen of my students suspended when they tested positive a week later.

Step One: Don’t.

Funny you mention that: the CNBC article linked above notes the following: “Shares of McDonald’s hit a 52-week high of $226.72 in trading Wednesday, and ended the day up 1.1% at $224.81. The stock, which has a market value of $173.3 billion, is up nearly 14% so far this year.”

Funny, as a Los Angelino I was thinking the same thing. Oaxacan is interesting but you don’t find it anywhere else in the state, I haven’t even seen it on visits to San Diego.

As a Northern Californian, it just erks me to see LA represent Cali.
