Yep, excellent game. Loved it on the Dreamcast back then. Simple, optimistic, adventurous, one of the few RPGs that began to use voice actors.

But why is 88 degrees in temperature important? Is 88 degrees a relevant temperature to something? Why is it starting at 88 degrees and rising? I don’t understand.

Just because you know it isn’t real doesn’t change the fact that your mind subconsciously associates it with being real, even if we know it to not be real, because of how much our body uses visual cues for maintaining balance and determine our physical position.
