Start a new one.  They added full tutorials to get you started with all the new stuff as well as new quests, etc. Then after playing the starter save for a bit, you may feel comfortable going back to your original save and continuing where you left off.

I have a ‘12 VW Passat that has had this problem, but I’ve determined that it was indeed an accidental push of the trunk button from the fob being in my pocket.
