This is my life’s mantra and I try very hard to stick to it, although sometimes it's hard to realize how much you emotionally depend on someone until they leave. Still, I try to stay vigilant.

I do worry that something else is going on, nobody should have periods that wicked, but I've been on the pill for so long I've never looked into getting diagnosed with something. The pill took away all my symptoms.

As a former teenage virgin who was on the pill almost as soon as her period started, and who was NOT sexually active, thank you. Birth control changed my life in high school, and not because it's a contraceptive.

I agree. My fiancée bought me a Kate spade purse for Christmas for when we do “nice things”.
