Not really related to toy, but in terms of actual merchandise, don’t forget the soundtrack! The music from the series is just utterly amazing, but only the first season is available (officially).

Never has a franchise toy potential been more ruined by incompetent idiots than the Avatar franchise. Every fan I know really wants some collectible of the series - figures, pop vinyls, statues, tiny pseudo-lego blind bags, anything. But nope, nothing.

Please for the love of all things good please let the Akira movie stay in development hell. It’s bad enough that they’re going to whitewash GitS and eliminate any trace of Japanese culture from the story. I don’t care how good the concept art looks just let this movie stay buried.

The fact that you’re hoping somebody tears this guy a new asshole when all he’s doing is offering reasonable advice with a nice heap of stuff that you certainly disagree with but is ultimately harmless says far more about you than him, and I say this as an agnostic.

You’re too dense to understand what he’s doing. He is doing something that you, for all your sanctimonious self righteousness, are incapable of doing: having some empathy with what that person’s thought process and communicating in a manner that he will understand.
