Hell, MPD has even had collisions with *trains* because, like a lot of emergency drivers, they forget that trains physically cannot stop.

My uncle lives in Saint Paul and has long maintained that the Minneapolis police straight up assassinated a gang leader to orchestrate a war with a rival gang so they’d wipe each other out. I don’t know when this happened (possibly the 90's?), but I wonder how common a belief or knowledge this is among Twin Cities…

There is absolutely no reason for the police, who are not trained stunt drivers but rather careless assholes, to be engaging in high speed chases on roads shared by the general public. This reminds me of the cop who recently flipped a pregnant woman's car when she didn't immediately pull over on an unsafe shoulder.…

There’s a shortage of microprocessors that have resulted in very limited new stock at dealerships in the US. It kinda got combined with people dropping their stimulus on new vehicles. As a result used cars are also overpriced. People are ordering cars and waiting months for them to arrive from the factory.

I posted here a few weeks ago about taking in my dad’s cat after his sudden passing. Well, kitty is settling in and has turned out to be a super sweet old boy. Mr. BSE and kitty are BFFs already and he likes to share the couch with me. I think my dad would be happy his cat is happy in his new home.

She’s doing great, as you can see. Visited her this morning. Real sweetie pie.
