Yeah, I did enjoy the absurdity of Dougie's life. Someone using the name "Sonny Jim" as if it was something anyone would call a kid, was funny.

It's a movie dialogue tic that bugs me when it happens on other things. Which was probably the point, but still didn't work for me. I wasn't able to tolerate an entire episode of variations on the same joke.

Yeah. When I first saw it, I assumed it was for Cooper, but now I'm not so sure. It could just be someone who knows there's other dimensions and hopes to grab something or anything.

The person funding the glass box in the first episode. It's mentioned as a rumor, by someone who clearly knows nothing but it's possibly true.

That seems almost the theme in general. All the steady moral bulwarks are gone. It ramped up the anxiety for me, feeling like the good people were being picked off or had been sidelined. Evil was winning.

Maybe the guy in Vegas is the mysterious billionaire? Or is the guy pretending to be Phillip Jeffries?

It went on too long for me also. And it was weird hearing people say "Dougie" over and over. I hope he comes back to himself soon.

The one agent makes a big deal about it though. Refuses to explain it to Kieffer Sutherland so I think it must connect.

Lil wears a Blue Rose in FWWM right?

Yes please! I'll take two! Heck! She can play triplets!

Booper.

Candidly, what decided it for me was that the Showtime app wouldn't open and the Amazon Prime link did so…

The 30 day trial is $10.99 a month after though. So Amazon would still be the better deal if you know you're sticking with the show.

I wondered about this too. Perhaps the doppleganger and Bob are separate. Both using the body but not the same.

I get it. I watched all four and I kind of feel like I'm bursting to talk about it with someone. Maybe a dedicated spoiler thread? That way people who don't want spoiling could minimize it and avoid spoilers?

Have you seen FWWM? I think that one is almost the most important.

People could just use spoiler tags too if they want to talk.

Well I'm glad I decided to watch FWWM this morning. I'd never seen it before but I think it was excellent prep for this version of the show.

I note that you conveniently ignore propanganda in your response. And I'm not clear why something being "in my mind" would make it irrelevant. If a large portion of society believes something, it influences how society acts.
