Visibly shattered? Disappointed I guess, but life goes on.

So "high profile news" say so? Well with that unimpeachable source!

Apparently the whole "hiring actors" thing happened in the first 20 minutes of the movie. It's not a "twist."

Don't be silly. Smith's success is based on his on-screen charm of which he has plenty. If special effects were enough, there'd be WAY more Will Smiths. I'll grant you that he has no gravitas.

Possibly even less expense. What with not having to hire PIs, actors, prepare doctored videos, and also pay a lawyer WILLING to submit doctored videos to a judge. Especially since Smith might hire his OWN lawyer who'd probably ask for documentation from their PI.

Yeah. And I can't understand how their response wasn't, "Let's hire a good lawyer."

I think this is only theatrical releases. Which makes sense. Why make a list entirely of movies few if anyone would ever be aware of?

See I agree with your comments about both movies, but the very qualities you discuss makes me give the slight edge to Suicide Squad. BvS struck me as obnoxiously humorless and self-important. Whereas Suicide Squad was hilariously try-hard. It was the difference between a suburban high school kid who wants to be

I think it was needed and they did it smart. They hired Abrams, the quintessential director for aping other directors and they kept the plotting familiar and utterly unsurprising. It frustrated me a little because I think you can see the potential for greatness (great characters stuck in a lazy plot), but it's fine

Yeah. I think TFA was a solid B thats frustrating for transparently playing it safe. But I still like it because now that they've finished their movie-length apology for the prequels, they can hopefully make something more fun.

It has two of those things. It also has the try-hardest soundtrack I've ever encountered. The soundtrack equivalent of having someone screaming, "Love me, I'm COOL," directly into your ear for more than two hours.

I didn't really enjoy Suicide Squad and I liked it less the more I thought about it, but it was not a flop. It made a huge amount of money and probably is raking in a lot now just in merchandizing. Unfortunately.

Live slow, die middle aged, leave an arteriosclerotic corpse.

The one that said Attack of the Clones was the best entry so far? Because that suggests to me that the reviewer's and my tastes do not coincide.

Well they do effect the narrative right? They stole the plans.

Especially one that talks in armpit noises!

I'm just pointing out that you are very carefully avoiding counting actual people when addressing this movement and focusing instead on states and counties. If I say "half the animals in this house are dogs. Out of six rooms, three rooms have a dog each, and the other three rooms have five cats each," I'm plainly

Meh. I like both. Maybe a slight edge to the newer one. And my favorite is Stagecoach.

What about Stagecoach? And True Grit? And the Longest Day?

That makes sense too if her brain is forming itself to fit the new language. Her brain is physically becoming more and more capable of perceiving time differently.
