Same with Tesla, just call roadside assistance, someone will do all this for you and charge you to 20% with a generator

As opposed to what, walking 2 miles with a jerry can ?

Or it is just Tesla becoming a mature corporation with limited growth possibilities. Tesla stock has been so hot because it went from selling 10,000 cars a year to 2,000,000 cars a year, but now it’s not like that number will reach 10,000,000 in the next 5 years.

It’s ok if it’s just the tips.

1: That’s not a MAX

It’s also better components all around attached to the same basic chassis.

So we live in a world where a BMW is less fun but more reliable than a Benz.

Different powertrains, which is way enough to make a difference between good and bad.

But these poor corporations have to create maximum value for the shareholders ! how can they achieve that by paying their employees adequately ?

Just wait for the SRT-E version in plum crazy.

I’m actually pleasantly surprised by how low the car and especially the beltline is. I like it.

Imagine looking like a fool all the time only for that specific situation

You just tap up and down, it doesn’t change position.

Oh really, anyway the premise of the article is wrong. EV’s are not “bringing it back” as a trend, it’s mostly any car that does not have a manual option and an electronic selector can move the gear selector anywhere they want and free up the center console for more useful things.

Yes it is, they remove one and install the remaining one in the opposite direction.

To be fair, the prowler was never advertised as a performance car, it was really always just a crazy looking car just for the wow factor. Just looking at the specs and anyone would have had a clear indication that this car was not meant for track usage.

I think that’s what they are intended for, but many dollar store tuners install them as performance look enhancers.

Not just EV’s, most current Mercedes have it as well, EV or ICE. I had a 2019 A250 hatch and it had a gear selector column stalk.

Biggest and most ubiquitous offender for me are rain visors, especially when used as “performance” parts. I can tolerate rain visors on a buick Century driven by an old smoker, but most of the time they’re installed on cheaply tuned cars.
