This is my favorite part

Why’s the North American trucking industry insists on using semis with long noses instead over cabovers like in europe ?

Really ?

I kinda agree with that, it’s extremely rare that cars fails the post-race inspections, this should have probably mandated extra scrutiny.

No, checking everything would take days, so they do mostly random checks on an equally random variety of component so nobody can guess what’s going to be checked on which cars.

Yes, it’s like with speeding speeding ticket on the highway, some will get away some don’t, but they can’t catch everyone. Don’t go above the speed limit if you don’t want to get pulled over.

Plastidipped stock wheels, rain visors, M-colored grille, insecure-guy fake M badging and “M” steering cover from Temu.

they’re kinda making a comeback

Well then that’s good news, I remember all the “experts” saying EV trucks don’t work, told ya as soon as they heard PepsiCo was putting them on chips routes

Disclaimer : I despise Elon Musk but not Tesla as a company that manufactures good EV’s.

I remember how wtf’d I was when I first saw that

To paraphrase a car salesperson when I refused a deal due to the interest rate :

And these are the non-existent “base” trim. Looking up M cars inventory in my area they’re all spec’d up with the M carbon and Premium packages, which increase the price by 25%

To be fair, MS3's were known for blown engine as well, and so was the CX-7 (CX-7 where everywhere and magically all disappeared 5 years after the end of the production run)

Me, the wife and our family had all sort of euro cars over the last 20-30 years, including lots of volks and audis. Super reliable albeit a bit expensive on maintenance, but they’re good cars.

Me and my family had plenty of VW/Audi products in the last 30 years and none have been problematic, besides the ubiquitous bad O2 sensors that can all be replaced at no fees for 8 years (why have not figured this out yet is beyond me) they’ve all been pretty good.

Oh, had the exact same car and experience.

Maybe likely because he was the only known personality to accept the deal.

Good opportunity for all the coal workers to start a new career
