Yes watching the hearing today was the first time I’d heard him speak more than a couple sentences, and I was like wow what am I feeling here. I am not attracted to him physically but I definitely have an intellectual crush. Right before the election I would not have believed I would one day have a crush on James

Tall doesn’t do it for me, maybe because I’m pretty short and I find it very awkward to always be craning my neck up at someone. My fiancé is about 5'8" and I’m 5'3" and I wouldn’t want him to be any taller. A 5 inch difference doesn’t feel like a lot when we’re face to face, but it’s definitely hard when I’m talking

Yes, I’m seeing people celebrating this both here and on Twitter. This is very concerning, and not at all normal. We needed an independent investigator into Trump’s Russia ties before, and now more than ever. We’re fucked.

Omg I just have to say I love this comment.

Oh god, my dad brought a similar-sized bottle to a family party recently and then made jokes all night about how he was sorry he could only afford one bottle of wine.

I desperately wish there was another like-minded person in this office I could talk to.

They can’t blame Olivia anymore! But don’t worry, they’ll go back to blaming the refs or Dom Capers soon enough. For Packers fans, it’s always someone else’s fault.

It always reminds me of that episode of Laguna Beach where Kristin’s car breaks down and she yells ‘my car is donezo!’ So for me that word is always associated with her.

I live in Wisconsin and my coworkers are all shocked and upset about Aaron and Olivia. They spent about 30 seconds discussing Syria this morning, but the topic of sportsball man and actress splitting up got several minutes of conversation. Priorities.

Oh I know. Still funny though.

Hah that’s true. Her, John John Kennedy, and Madonna.

Drinking again, yes, and also apparently an adviser to the Trump campaign, per this Vulture interview with Carole Radziwill!

Any tips on handling nosy adults who try to get me to go to church or ask my about my religious beliefs (I am an atheist and honest would rather not talk about it most of the time)? I mean, I’m 27 but still have trouble not being overtly rude when people try to tell me I need to go to church.

I was just looking at them on Audible and one reviewer wrote that getting through the first one is difficult but worth it to get to the other books. I guess Ferrante intended it to be one book but the publisher split it into four, which I hadn’t known before.

When I read the article about this the other day my first thought was that she doesn’t trust him, either because he’s wandered in the past or she’s just worried he will. I grew up around a lot of religious men who considered themselves to be morally superior, who would always tell you how good and right they were.

Right, and that’s why I think so many white people have no problem generalizing or stereotyping. Some of my coworkers have said they have no desire to travel outside the US. The vacations they take around this country are to places like Vegas where they sit in a casino the whole time, or to Florida, where they sit by

I (a white person) agree with all of this, almost especially with the idea that if you look like other people they think you act or think like them too. I don’t know how many times a coworker or even just random person has said something racist to me, assuming I’m going to agree with them. Before this election season

I haven’t read the current United dress code policy but when my dad worked for them we all had to dress business casual, including children. We were not allowed to wear sweatpants or jeans. So while it’s true men don’t necessarily wear leggings, I’d say they fall under the sweatpants/athletic wear category.

Yep yep yep. My dad has worked in the airline industry forever, so when we were kids my brother and I had to dress up whenever we were flying non-rev. I hated it, but that’s just how it was. Oddly enough, now that I’m an adult and unable to use my dad’s flying benefits I still find myself dressing up a bit to fly. Old

Anyone have any good audiobook recommendations? I have a ton of Audible credits to use up and I’m in a bit of a reading rut. I’m into pretty much any genre except science fiction or fantasy.
