Yeah, I would much rather have someone say nothing. I know it’s difficult to know what to say when people die, but I think ‘I’m sorry for your loss’ is just fine. The guy who just died fought a long cancer battle, so saying that was part of god’s plan is just cruel, like god wanted him to suffer.

I hate the people who say ‘it’s all part of god’s plan.’ A family friend died last night and on his wife’s Facebook I saw a couple people commenting that. Those people can all go die in a fire and we’ll see how they feel about it being ‘god’s plan’ then.

I think this is referring to the ‘tea’ supplements that are marketed to help you lose weight, and not actual tea leaves. Or in your case the matcha powder. If the ingredients on the box or tin say just ‘tea’ then it should be fine. I too drink several cups of green tea a day and I’m not worried about getting…

I am no fan of Boehner but when I saw he was resigning this morning I groaned. I just knew that whoever they put up to replace him would be awful, and seeing that Paul Ryan is up for consideration does nothing to assuage my fears. Le sigh.

I agree but on the other hand, I have asked my family to not say racist/generally offensive things around me and they still do. So maybe her situation is like that? It’s like they ‘can’t help themselves’ or some other bullshit.
