I mean... I think the soundest advice anyone could give them would be go into total retirement, buy a remote island, and enjoy your millions in silence. Any chance of reputation/legacy salvaging is shot to hell. At this point what are they even trying to accomplish?

So true. When I am upset and my little 30lb “NOT a lapdog” starts making it his job to lick every last tear and booger off my face. Sometimes I think he might just like how they taste - but then I start laughing at the adorable grossness of my dog and the end result is the same.

I was in an (ugly looking but no major physical injuries) car crash. My mother’s first response was to bring me a cup of tea to the accident scene.

Loud mouth + rizos = reina. I had an ex tell me I reminded him of Mafalda (not in a good way) with my “afro” and “opinion on everything”. Later on I had the epiphany that Mafalda IS my spirit animal.

I actually drive better after indulging in the tears of bigots - I concentrate more on driving.

We’re a fan base with very few joys. Booing and unflattering articles about JD & The Straight Shot are simple pleasures that are enjoyed by all.

I also wouldn’t be surprised if some of the MASSIVE racism that exists in Spanish culture trickled down to their New York chains. My first trip there was pretty shocking in how blatantly racist many shop workers were - especially to black people (of any national origin).

There were no “Dominican” looking children in the Dominican orphanage I visited a few years back. When I asked one of the locals why that was his response was something along the lines of “Porque nadie quiere a los negritos” (Cuz no one wants the black kids). Absolutely heartbreaking.

In defense of the Original Hairy Bearded Hippy that was Jesus....people have/are using him to justify a lot of messed up shit.
