I really wonder how the USA has not had a mass action of women uniting about this. It effects every socioeconomic level (at least a bit) and I can’t imagine any female politicians coming out specifically against paid maternity leave.

I feel like if I did want to burn stuff down - I’d head to the Inner Harbor area or city government buildings- not just stick around my own neighborhood. That is what confuses me on a very basic level.

That is really exactly how I feel. Against abortion? Don’t have one. Against gay marriage? Don’t marry someone of the same sex as you. Believe the Flying Spaghetti Monster will end the world tomorrow - don’t make other people wait outside wearing colanders on their heads with you.

Long distance for 3 years - now engaged. Key thing for us was we had a very set goal and eventually schedule for becoming no distance. Also no texting for anything other than scheduling/travel updates - only phone calls for communication. A five minute call is worth 1000 texts to me.
