If you like movies at all, this guy’s YouTube series is pretty excellent. This video has some casual uses of “retard” that I really dislike, but he also has a lot of sensitivity and respect to Ms. Cates’ situation.

I definitely felt like “apparently rhetorically” was too much, but I also admit I do not have the wisdom to know the difference between a read and shade. I just know I guffawed out loud at that juxtaposition, and then marveled at how easily that could go over someone’s head.

honestly, it felt good just to write it out. Other people upthread are saying they make money off selling your email address, which also sucks. So maybe this isn’t constructive :-( But it was just so disgustingly slanted that I couldn’t help myself.
