Is that Miriam Shor?

I had no idea Jordan Peele and Chelsea Peretti were together, but they’re my new favorite celebrity couple.

Now playing

A different event and a few years ago, but similar idea and HOLY CRAP:

I didn’t go through as much of this stuff, I only have an MA and adjuncted for a while, but I got a full-time academic staff position through an on campus interview and presentation. I think that if you’re getting as far as the teaching demo, it may just be that your research interests just don’t fit with what the

The Broad Art Museum at MSU is such a cool building. I wanted to post this because the angle of the photo in the article doesn’t really do it justice.

Interesting! I’m sure there are a bunch of fan theories out there, but I like yours.

Aw, speaking of whom, I sort of wish there had been a little more explanation about how William’s object of affection became a vengeance demon. I’m all for some mystery, but I feel like they just forgot about it.

I’m sorry, I’m not trying to correct you, but I’m not sure who Callie is. Cassie? Halfrek? Or maybe I’m completely forgetting someone...

I thought I was the only one who paid that close attention to the opening credits. I like to test myself to see if I can identify them before they’re gone.

In its defense, it got the Mayor to come back later and mess with Faith. I think the issue is that none of those older Big Bads would have had any particular impact on the characters they were torturing, other than Dru/Spike and the Mayor/Faith. I guess Glory could have tortured Dawn, but they got Joyce to do that

Yeah, the scene with both of them is out in the main room of the Magic Box, and then he and Buffy go alone into the training room to talk. This is when they leave Anya alone with bound-by-magic Willow, and then it goes downhill from there.

Full-stop, Giles is the best. Anthony Stewart Head is my current “hot old man,” which is how my friends and I refer to older gentlemen we would totally do (hers is Roger Daltrey).

No! I didn’t know she wrote books. I’ll look into that!

Everything you all have mentioned has made me think, yeah, that’s a good point. I try to tune out most of the Riley stuff, but I did get angry this time around when Xander convinces Buffy it’s all her fault.

I still get genuinely angry when he gets an opening credit but Amber Benson never* did. He’s like a small-college women’s basketball coach now...

Generally, I’m completely with you. The only things I really like about Season 4 is Willow (and really, it’s more of AH’s acting: I just felt like she found her niche of combining sweet and sassy) and Spike. The episode where he realizes he can still hurt demons is one of my favorite Spike moments. I love him in

I do not have enough Buffy gifs.

Interesting. I dislike early Xander’s jealousy of Buffy and inability to take no for an answer, but he generally grows on me as the series progresses.

I just finished re-watching Buffy (again) last night, and I’m gonna say that seasons 3 and 4 are Willow/Alyson Hannigan’s best, this episode included.
