It’s just been a grey, sleepy, lonely day. Haven’t accomplished much: cleaned my kitchen and bathroom, curled into a ball and cried over some family drama, and left the house for the sole reason of obtaining pizza and wine. Which I am now enjoying. (Lambrusco! Dry and fizzy and fruity and happy!)

why GRE and not GMAT?

I’ve just got in from the birthday gathering of a friend from the bike club I’m a member of. It’s only about the fourth time I’ve been out on the piss in the past 18 months since my ex tried to kill me, so when combined with current health issues being social is a major achievement.

I need a drink name again! It’s another grown-up fruit punch, basically. Vodka, mango lemonade, juice of 1/4 lime, seltzer ‘til fizzy. Pale orange in color, refreshingly tart in flavor. The mango gives it a nice depth and complexity; it’s got a lot more flavor than just lemon-lime, thanks to that part.
