They should have used a Dune level Patrick Stewart or younger, not a TNG one.

The Walkin’ Dude

“Rey,” in fact, is short for Jean Grey. The rest of her name on the birth certificate got cut off.

Word.

I think we need a tool like this to make stronger arguments for why workplace drug testing cannot be pass/fail in locations that have legalized marijuana either for medicinal or recreational use.

All EV people really want to know is (and what’s most important)...

Not feeling the lightsaber mainly because my life has taught me that hinge locks like that are not to be trusted even on things that *can’t* cut you in half if they fail at an inopportune time.

I was sitting in the right field stands at Nats park back when he was playing for the Cardinals. The stadium was quiet because it had been a fairly uneventful game, and I’d had a lot to drink, so I decided to heckle him.

The Major sport that’s hardest on your body, is far and away the worst for your brain (and long term risks), but pays far and away the least and guarantees nothing in contracts (and has a history of fucking over it’s retirees) is having a problem with players walking away from the game.

I don’t know. In order to be famous somebody would have to be able to recognize your face, right? Well, just try to get somebody to accurately depict the prophet Muhammad. All of a sudden everybody’s memory gets real foggy.

You will never hear me argue about Lewis’s incredible talent, ability, and success as he is truly one of the sports greatest.

His family doesn’t owe anyone other than Michael Schumacher anything. If they feel that keeping his status in the family is the right thing to do, more power to them.

If such a particle existed, and given how much dark matter we expect there to be in the universe, such a particle should at some point have caused an unexplained gunshot-like wound in a human being

V6 Rav4 was rad.

yeah! screw that obviously terrible movie you still attempted to see but couldn’t so can’t actually judge!

Oh, I agree with all of that. I believe the reports that KD was dying to get out there and play. I’m just saying that I think they all knew this was a legitimate risk, and it is probably why he didn’t play until Game 5.

This is probably the correct take. Doctors told KD the risks. KD still wanted to play. FO okayed it. (I also agree with people who say that if KD was on a new long-term contract, GSW doesn’t play him. No reason to risk one of the best players on the planet over this series. There’s always next year.)

I’m betting this is the exact situation.  KD and his camp knew damn well the risks of him playing, he had to have in the back in his mind that Player Option.  I can’t believe someone that obsessive about his image and legacy not knowing all of the possibilities before suiting up.

Greenhouse gases exist even if you can’t see them.
