My dad likes to tell us that his first car ever was a ‘64 1/2 Mustang, but by the time my siblings and I were around, his cars were mostly cheap second vehicle commuters or trucks.

If I ever did, I certainly wouldn’t conflate my reaction to someone else’s expressions with “following the evidence,” as this guy did. You aren’t following the evidence if you’re trusting your gut reaction on how trustworthy someone appears.

I wholeheartedly agree that Level 2 crashes are concerning and warrant investigation, but as the article admits, there is so much information that is needed to provide proper context and analysis (and which was not provided), that the report today is almost useless.

I had a great time with my three year old son doing donuts in an empty snow covered parking lot after picking him up from daycare one night. He loved it. So much so that he immediately told my wife about how much fun we had when we got home. D’oh!

I had assumed they were planning to take the transport which would have made perfect sense, but then they walked through the gate and I was baffled.

That’s how most old houses are built. It’s called plaster and lath and it’s how they built houses before drywall.

There’s probably a disconnection from the Force to stay under the radar that’s putting him off-balance too.

Astronauts are famously fearless but I’d be pretty unexcited about riding on this if the next flight is crewed.

You’ve gotta be shitting me. My first car in 1996 was a 1980 Toyota Corolla SR-5 liftback. You’d be hard pressed to spot many differences between the Corolla and the Corona for these model years. 4 doors vs 2 doors and that’s about it. The interior looks damn near identical. I sold mine in 2002 for $800. What is the

I love diving the Outer Banks. So many interesting wrecks and stories. The conditions often make it challenging (cold, dark, current, lack of visibility, etc.), but that just makes it more rewarding when something like an old German U-boat comes into view.

I’m not one of the million dead though. And neither are any of my family members.

Well, that’s a silver lining. I was vaccinated and boosted and Omicron hit me like a truck at the end of last week. Its nice to know I get some benefit out of this experience.

I wonder if King is asking too much for the Long Walk rights, because that seems like excellent horror movie fodder. You could probably make it with mostly unknowns for $10 million.

Agreed. I have no idea why they put the artificial limitation of the game having been made by Nintendo for this list. Wouldn’t best sports game payable on a Nintendo have been more interesting and led to more debate/comments?

I believe the point of the quote is that the car behind couldn’t have made the corner at that speed unless he scrubbed some of it by bumping the car ahead. It’s the kind of move video game players use in Forza or GT when damage is turned off.

Let’s see here... 2009 Lexus IS with 135k on the clock:

It has no choice but to undercut on price. 200 hp doesn’t really do it in the segment this is supposed to be competing in. Especially with a cvt.

God damn it. I had made my piece with not being able to afford a Speedy and now I have to spend the next two days devising plans to send relatives on searches of watch stores on a Saturday to try to grab one of these.

Alfa and Haas use Ferrari’s engine, so these high finishes for previously low performing teams are likely tied to Ferrari’s own success.

I have a mini-LED Samsung that I bought last year that uses this same stand design. It’s proven to be quite stable in practice. I don’t have any concerns about it.
