Watched it around Christmas and thought it was still pretty entertaining.

I had a chance to talk with an engineer from the Apollo program recently and I asked him specifically about his predictions for future exploration of the moon and Mars and how he saw that going between NASA and private companies. HE told me he thought private companies were clearly going to be the path forward.

Why wouldn’t a ship like this have backup boosters or other rockets to adjust their trajectory in the case of an emergency?

I actually love him not showing his face. He is a mystery and part of the fun is trying to decipher his character and motives. I don’t expect to be told everything I need to know about a character in the first episode. Be patient!

I was just about to post this. The Razor Crest was shown flying over the village as he landed. That likely got their interest and they headed to town to see if they could find out more about whoever was piloting it.
