Maezawa reportedly offered Musk a spot and Musk has not decided if he will accept.

Is BAT really that big of a market now? I would expect this to normally get sold at a major auction with pre-vetted bidders. Or is this just on BAT with a super-high reserve as a way for them to gain publicity without ever actually expecting to sell it?

Yes. Lotus Raikkonen was what made me an F1 fan. I was just getting into the sport during those years and watching him was a joy. I quickly became a fan and loved the idea of a hugely talented driver with lesser equipment getting everything to align every now and then to steal a podium or even a win.

Kepler is now nearly 3X past its intended service life. They didn’t need a fuel gauge because they never thought it would function this long. Why add one, when fuel wasn’t supposed to be the limiting factor on the mission?

Silly fools. Everyone knows electrical devices run on magic smoke. As long as the smoke stays on the inside of the device, everything works fine. If you let it out, it stops working. PROVE ME WRONG.

Even if we could prove with certainty that the tire would have missed the helmet, wouldn’t we still want the halo? If a tire can get 8-10 inches from a driver’s head, even if it misses, isn’t that enough to think about ways to stop that? What this incident shows clearly is that there is a real risk to the drivers from

Many of them aren’t even that historic. a bunch of these monuments were put up in the 60s and even in towns/states that were on the Union side during the Civil War.

A lot of them do. Wireless charging is fairly inefficient in the overall scheme of things and a lot of excess heat is generated. My Anker wireless chargers (stand up and flat) both have cooling fans built into them.

True, but that may have been part of the intent, as well. Catchers have been messing with batters’ heads since baseball was invented. Tweaking Puig and taking his mind further off the game was likely part of what he was trying to do. Puig has no one to blame for getting tossed (and now suspended) but himself, though.

He won’t be suspended. Puig will.

The next time the Dodgers are in town and Puig isn’t suspended, the Giants will have their own noted idiotic red ass Hunter Strickland back... Puig better be prepared to wear a fastball to the ribs.

Sure it is. Getting into the batter’s head has always been part of the catcher’s job.

Hats off to rookie Dereck Rodriguez (son of Pudge) at 5:13 for being the first player off the bench and into the fray by a longshot. LOL. That’s a guy who clearly grew up around the game.

LOL. Sure, buddy. Hundley made Puig do it.

Catchers are supposed to do that, though. They talk to batters and try to get in their head all the time. “Get back in the box” is pretty mild, actually.

Yeah. He’s a big dude. He’s around 6'4", I believe and works out a ton.

He said “Get back in the box.” Not exactly something that should have led to Puig to react in the way he did.

OK. I’m intrigued. What the hell is that? I need to know more.

This. I’ve tried all of the “extreme performance” all-seasons, and the Continental is my favorite all around.

Same. Potenzas were good to drive on, but wore out QUICK and were absolute shit in the snow.
