@diamonddnice: Sounds like a network driver issue or something. I had issues with my 680i chipset at first. Had to shutoff features on the network driver in order to make it stable. Check around if you have a weird chipset or network card.

I agree with this. I cringe when I see all the articles on new growl popups and the like. In order to help with my single tasking I've removed as much alerting like that as possible.

I just can't help but think how much of concentration breaker this many popup notifications would be.

I'm a bit worried my 680i motherboard isnt going to play nice.
