Numbers ending in 9 are not any more likely to be divisible by 3 than are numbers ending in 1, 3, or 7. For example, in each of these sets, only one number is divisible by 3:

(11, 21, 31), (13, 23, 33), (17, 27, 37), (19, 29, 39)

Nonsense. If you want to get up an hour earlier, get to work an hour earlier, and go to bed an hour earlier all year long, which is all DST is, then just do it. But keep the damn clocks on standard time.
