That’s the correct take. Season 2 follows the manga closely but lacked the tension and momentum of Season 1. The animation was ok but I think Se2 suffered more from pacing than anything else.

My biggest issue was how the series handled Time. The transitions between past and present were very confusing. Tech tip: give the viewer some indication that things are in the past. This show isn’t Westworld - you don’t need a “20years ago” but some more obvious tell would help - for eg give Geralt a streak of black…

Having cross shopped every small hatchback 2 years ago - ended up w a Mazda 3 2.0 6-speed. It was cheaper than a similar spec Fit, felt more spacious, better handling and looked less like something a teenager would drive. The Civic Hatch was a hard pass- could have got a 2Wd CR-V for almost the same $$.
